Assignment:Individual Reflections
Value:15%
Length:1500 Words
Due:Week 13, 26 May 2024 – 23:59
Type:Individual
Objective
The objective of a reflection report is for students to engage in a conversation with their teaching team regarding how the various workshops, lessons, newly acquired knowledge, and experiences have influenced their comprehension and application of the content covered in PMGT5872: People and Communications.
From the very beginning of the course, students are encouraged to maintain a personal journal to record their individual observations and reflections. You are not required to submit the journal; only this individual reflective summary will be formally assessed.
These reflections enable students to enhance their understanding and contribute to a more in-depth discussion of the crucial aspects of communication within project contexts.
A. your specialised knowledge gained from PMGT5872 and
B. your learning processes.
Area A: Reflection on Your Knowledge
- In today's world, projects offer opportunities for delivering complex products and services more efficiently and innovatively. However, they also pose significant challenges that require effective communication among project members at various levels, coupled with supportive and informative leadership.
- Discuss your assertion that communication and people-focused project management play a critical role in this landscape.
- You must draw upon a minimum of four weeks' worth of materials covered in PMGT5872 to provide a critical and reflective assertion.
- Flipped learning is an innovative teaching method where students actively participate in higher-level tasks and assume responsibility for their own learning. In PMGT5872, this approach includes group presentations, workshops (before, during, and after), discussion boards, and other activities.
- Share your insights and experiences with flipped learning and the group activities conducted in PMGT5872.
- You should base your reflections on Kolb's Experiential Learning Cycle for a deeper understanding.
- Your assignment should have a structured format. Create a structure that best suits your reflection, ensuring it is clear to the reader and effectively conveys your insights in both the knowledge and learning areas (Areas A and B).
- Length: 1500 words (+/- 10%), excluding executive summary, references, and appendices.
- Submit your completed assignment through Turnitin. The due date for submission is Week 13.Individual Reflections
