OBJECTIVE: This course introduces the basic principles of microeconomics, and how economic decisions are driven by individual behavior. Whether it is a consumer wanting the most from finite means, or a firm seeking the most profits, all these competing needs interact in a market system. Throughout the course we will learn what drives the supply and demand for products, and how a market equilibrium is reached depending on different market structures.
