Machine Learning Techniques for Data Science

Data Science uses machine learning methods to fit data and make predictions.In this course you wilearn how to explore data in order   to identify the appropriate ethical and cultural considerations and select the appropriate tools to analyse the data,develop the theory that underlines those tools,and see a variety of modern machine learning algorithms (such as Large Language Models)that make moden machine learning such a fascinating topic.

Course learning objectives

1 Students who pass this course should be able to:

3 Identify the ethical, cultural, and privacy principles that are relevant for particular data science projects.

4 Explain the role of optimisation in fitting various machine leaning models to data.
